Justin Sternes brings to the Southern Rockets over 20 years experience as a high performance circket coach. Just has coached male and female athletes at all levels including international and state players and teams. Justin was the Queensland Cricket Talent Development & Pathways Manager, QAS Head Coach and former Brisbane Heat and Queensland Bulls Assistant Coach. Justin will oversee the entire Southern Rockets cricket program and also coach the senior men and under 17’s.
We are delighted to have Justin on board and ready to launch the Southern Rockets.
We’re looking for experienced and passionate coaches who want to leave their legacy on the game. With Marlins teams from U/12’s through to Seniors, there is plenty of opportunities for the right coaches to join our team in paid coaching roles.
*Please note: you must be able to demonstrate a sound level of coaching experience and knowledge of the T20 format.
